Default Fuel is literally being dumped from engine bay area.

I was driving, and all of the sudden I smelled gas really bad. And i looked at my fuel pressure gauge and it had dropped from about 4.8 bars to about 3.9 on regular driving, it's never been below 4.5ish (when i'm accelerating even) so i knew something was up with my car. I made it home (only 1 miled from home) and noticed that the fuel was literally just dripping out of my engine bay area. This is 11 pm, so it's dark so i cant get a good look. all on my drivway, there is a line of fuel.

SO i put a towel under it, to soak up the rest of the fuel and will deal with it tomorrow after work. is there anything that would cause the leak?

Vortech with 440cc injectors, walbro fuel pump, etc, but why would the fuel be leaking in the engine bay? I'm bad at fuel stuff, so help me out guys with some ideas. hopefully i'll have better luck looking at it tomorrow, but i dont get home till it's almost dark.

More than likely one of your fuel lines is too close to a header. Is it more on the passenger side? Even if you've had the setup for some time over time the rubber hose could malfuntion slowly. Fuel leaking in a hot engine bay could spell disaster. Dont take any chances

Maybe it's where you tapped in for your fuel pressure gauge?

Make sure you use fuel injection clamps and also the right size!
+1--Hoses can go bad over time, swell, and then come loose.

OEM fuel rail where the dampner is. Held on by 2 10mm bolts. That little o-ring in there is prone to failure. Should be easy to find this leak, if you are smelling and seeing raw fuel. Good luck.

Like everyone else said, fuel and a hot engine bay spell disaster.
I hope all you guys have fire extinguishers in your cars. If you dont, all it takes is a stupid little fire, then your that guy watching his car burn to the ground on the side of the road. For those of you that commute a lot, we've all seen it happen..

if its an ordinary fuel line you can hit up auto zone or pepboys. otherwise, find a junkyard or try courtesyparts.com
