Have any FI'ers had any kind of throttle response issues?

Intermittently. Like I said, it used to do it every time I took the car out. But I drove it today and nothing happened. Very weird problem.

That voltage correlation code is one for a bad TB. Let us know if it comes back.

Now I'm very confused as I replaced the TB the other day and the problem seems to have persisted. Maybe time for an ECU reflash?

One last thing, is to do a firmware and Throttle firmware reflash of your UTEC. Maybe it has a slight corruption that is causing the dead pedal.
Call me before you do this, since you'll need to save your map and parameters to your laptop first since a firmware update wipes out existing maps.
Or just send me your UTEC and I will do it for you.

I get the dead pedals and voltage code (P1122/1126) on occasional warm starts. It happens most often when the headlights are on.
I replaced the UTEC and TB and it persists. The UTEC is running the latest software. I don't know what else to do.

there is a Throttlecontrole.mot file comes with the Utec file
u should download it to the utec in the B processor (DBW Processor), or u can send it to forge like sharif said much better.

pm sent.
James I can help you if you need this done but since you have a DD shipping it may not be a bad idea. Either way, I can help you uninstall the UTEC as well.

Thanks chris. This problem is being put on hold for now as I have crap to do for school all week and I'll be out of town all weekend. I'll definitely be in touch when I get back though.
Sharif, could the anamoly with the UTEC actually be tripping the two codes I'm getting?

I'm getting P2122 and P2138. Something about voltage and position correlation.

Ok, I took the car out today, and despite the successful drive the other day, the throttle problem reappeared. I NEED to get this resolved...
Any other ideas fellas?

I was messing around with the car just now, and it pauses at about 1500 rpm. This must mean the cam position sensor is actually failing.

I'd like to resolve this myself, plus I really don't have time to be shooting back and forth to Marietta at the moment.

The p2138 is the same problem I have had, replaced the TB and the APP sensor. Continued to have the prob... If this is a software issue then i'd surely like to find out or test the firmware option to see if that fixes it.

James lmk if you want to remove the UTEC tomorrow. Get the details from sharif and we can take care of it.
