Have any FI'ers had any kind of throttle response issues?
I'm about to bypass some of the throttle and pedal control wires across the UTEC...since there are no issues with the UTEC removed and the UTEC has no reason to be F'ing with these lines, i think it might be a solution for those who are throwing P1122 and P1126...
Yea I still have the issue, with winter approaching rather rapidly here in the Northeast, i'll be checking for the update this winter. I Have had this problem with the Utec for a while, and it continues to happen. I wish there was a way to shut it off, because obviously there is no problemm with the APP sensor since the car can be shut down and turned back on and then no problems.
VICTORY
Well, it looks like Chris and I have this issue licked!
We (with the help of the team at Forged Performance) we were able figure out that the accelerator pedal position sensor WAS NOT the issue as the diagnostic tests initially indicated. Doing a bit of data logging we found that the sensor was working fine but that the MAF sensor was getting weird voltage levels.
As luck would have it, Chris had a spare MAF sensor laying around, so we swapped it out, and sure enough the car was good as new! The SES went away as soon as I started it and the car drove and accelerated completely fine. I've been busy all day with other stuff, so I didn't get to drive it that much, but hopefully that completely eliminated my issues.
Needless to say, I'm amped that my car appears to be running like new again! Huge thanks to Chris (Cux350Z) and Sharif and Sandy at FP for being so helpful.

Not that many, fifty maybe. But no CEL, which is important. Everything looked ok with the data logging, so I'm crossing my fingers that this problem is taken care of.

Wow, im going to test that with my bro's and see if that is possibly my problem... I never even thought of that being the problem... Thanks for posting... God I hope that fixes my problem, otherwise the utec is off to Sharif to get the update.
I really doubt the UTEC is the cause. Hindsight being 20/20, it seemed like a plausible thought, it makes a lot more sense that the MAF was the issue as opposed to the APP sensor.
GUESS WHAT!
I took my car out for a drive today, and the stupid issue came back! I'm so upset/depressed/angry right now I can't even verbalize it. This stupid car has literally ruined my love automobiles and driving. I'm contemplating doing a part out as we speak and just taking a huge loss on the whole thing as I really don't know if I can deal with this nonsense anymore.

Most if not all drivability issues you experience are the result of your tuner. The only thing that can't be fixed with a competent tune is the limp mode that affects some of us.
Osiris is great for N/A, but I don't trust it for stock block F/I. The stock ECU was never designed for F/I and lacks critical safety features.

When did you get the car tuned? In the middle of summer when it was warm out or when it was still chilly out. I was having the limp mode issue and thought it to be the maf after you said it stopped, but when the temp dropped, it stopped happening. I'm pondering if it can have anything to do with the temperature and air density and the table in the utec being setup properly? My thought isn't completely developed on it entirely as i'm trying to learn about the utec's programming to see what I can do to remedy the situation. I will say that I think it has to do with air density in some way because with the haltecs, proefi's, fcons etc... you can shut off the maf entirely and run on map; I haven't heard any complaints about those systems putting the cars into limp mode.
So in conclusion, i'm wondering if there is someone on here who we could compare our temp compensation tables to, and also what the maf pull up/ down settings are... I'm going haltec or proefi this winter mainly because of this issue, but would still like to find the reason for ourselves and others to not have to deal with this headache.
