str8dum1 says 30 min to swap an axle - not sure I believe that, but I'm down whenever you guys get the last lucky winner to get in on this deal. The axle is the only part part of the drivetrain I haven't upgraded, yet.

I can swap one in less than 30 minutes.

I thought you needed 6 people total. Anyway, I think you have 6:

1. Blackbird CPV35
2. BriGuyMax
3. 04G35tt
4. RCDash
5. str8dum1 (need to confirm)
6. neverenough (need to confirm)

Let's do it.

The price listed is the lowest it's going. It will also probably be the lowest price you will ever get for a set of these axles too

If you get $1800 shipped I think str8dum1 will bite. $400 off plus free shipping is too good to pass up.

Last chance for you stragglers before this goes through. Mike you better jump on this. If you break your inner CV joint at or prior to ZdayZ and can't run, I declare an automatic win for an automatic... Another slush box victory. 5AT glory and all that.

Like Rcdash said, if this is the only time to get theses and DSS stands behind their product,
I guess the time must be now. I'd prefer to wait as long as possible, but not everyone is on the same time line as me. Since these are built to order anyhow, how long does Inject think the lead time will be?? MIght be able to work something out where mine would be the last set based on 1/2 money up front or something.... better for a PM...

Still wanna make sure that DSS stand behind their axles for the amount of money getting spent. Its a ~$11,000 order.

Confirmed! I agree with str8dum1. I am assuming that we get some kind of warranty policy from DSS. Can you confirm Ryan?

I would have to greatly disagree with them standing behind the product they make. I have had countless problems with my axles causing bad wheel bearings and they won’t do anything about it. Put stock axles back in and the wheel bearings are fine put the DSS lvl 5's in and they go bad within 15miles.

Many people run the level 5s including hal, alberto, and nitrouz did too. None of them have complained about bad wheel bearings. I have to wonder if your set is defective. My level 2s have the same surface area at the end of the splines pressing against the bearings as the Level 5s and Pro axles (ie. less than the stock axles with the ring on the end) and I had zero issues with wheel bearings over 20K miles.

Have you heard of any one else having wheel bearing issues with these?

I have talked to several other people that have had this issue and I had asked for a replacement set from DSS but was told that was out of the question. I think the other people have had the same luck.

Ok, ruining wheel bearings is unacceptable. Someone "official" needs to address this issue or this is going to fall apart... I think everyone is out at SEMA though.
