Anyone interested in a DSS Pro Axle Group Buy?
Link to official Group Buy Thread

If anyone is thinking about upgrading their axles this winter please consider the DSS Pro axles, they seem like a way better option than the DSS level 5 and with the discount I am trying to get it would only be slightly more.
I am working with a Injected Performance to get a pretty deep discount on these axles, I only need 5 other people besides me to buy at the same time.

Axles can be a piece of cake to swap out or kind of a biotch depending on what exhaust you have.

Rcdash,
I replace my snapped axle in like 30 mins. Very easy. My exhaust is v-banded as well. Prolly need an impact though, well I did bc my axle was broke and would spin
I also needed a 5 ton puller to get the axle from the hub, but you can borrow those from autozone.
The 50$ electric impact from harbor freight is prolly the best tool i have ever bought!
I was told the 3 person price was 1900$ and the 6 person price was $1800. Thats the same as buying 12 pairs of stock axles

So I need this (nice to have or must have?):
http://www.sjdiscounttools.com/kdt3552.html
and I bought an electric impact wrench (rated at some 400 ft lbs) at one point to get my stock catalytic converters off and it did squat, so I returned it in exchange for the largest breaker bar I could find (which worked nicely).
EDIT: in regards to the cost being 12x stock, the fact is that no one wants to be stuck out in the middle of nowhere with a broken axle. I want to be able to drive to ZdayZ or the drag strip and have some peace of mind about launching the car (now that I've got the 2-step on my auto wired up - think I'm the first to try it. ).

^^LOL good point. I think Rcdash needs a transbrake instead of 2 step
On the street, you'll burn out before you break an axle. Its only on a VHT prepped tracks with DRs or slicks, that you would have to worry. Now if I can start getting you out to the strip in the spring, thats another thing
Although, yes buy a pair. That helps me save some money as well
also, there is no way to get the axle out of the hub without a puller (at least one that would be quicker than the 5 min drive over to autozone to rent one-- which I still need to return). I had a 3 jawed one.

Ummm, no. I think that might work, once! lol. Brake stop lamp switch is routed through a DPDT switch to the aux rev limiter of the Haltech. The other throw on the switch disengages the yaw sensor signal. Voila - launch control for an auto. With my Edge Racing TC, I think I'll be able to launch at 4k rpms, which is well into boost, if not peak boost. Basically, I hold the brake, flip the switch, put the accelerator to the floor, then release the brake when ready. I haven't tried it yet. Hopefully I won't break anything.

Keep in mind that stall is a function of input torque. You are correct though that the TC limits what I can do. With my GT28s, I don't really think I'll have an issue building boost though. I could simulate this manually just as you could with the clutch pedal 2 step. It's just a matter of the aux rev limiter holding the rpms where they need to be so I don't move off the line prematurely.

I doubt we'll get a better deal than this... List price is what $2200? I'm a 5AT and doing this just to help you 6MT guys out... Where's Alberto? That would make 6 with Mike and Chris.
EDIT: Str8dum1, get in on this too. That way I can come over to your place to get this installed the same time you do yours (u said 30 mins per axle, right? I'll offer you $100 for the install, and a beer, since you've got the tools )
