thats what it would look like if they used a lift and dropped tranny/ngine from underneath. (smart way) No way you are doing it like that with a cherry picker (the way I have to do it in my 1 car garage )

Sorry I meant the radiator support shroud not the strut bar. I saw the pic where they were using a cherry picker and pulled the motor from the top. So they just dropped the tranny first and then pulled the motor?

The reason I ask is because I'm trying to pull mine but I was going to remove the rad support and pull it all at once.

Also guys, eta for motor to be back in the car is 1-2weeks. The builder who is doing the work on my engine formely worked at HKS and now works at Cosworth. One of the perks of dealing with GearHeinz. =)

I didn't follow this thread, so can you give a quickie on why the felt they needed to pressure test the head? Is this a motor you popped in the past or something?

Yea popped few weeks ago. Stock motor only had about 11,000 miles on it. if the motor had high miles i would of considered some valvetrain upgrades but since my goals are very modest and the heads are fine i decided against it.

I have 40k on the odometer, the motor was replaced due to oil consumption at 28k or 29k.
