How do you like GH?

 

i think it will be a positive experience from now on working with 1 shop who will not only build and tune my car but who will stand behind their work if anything should go wrong.

Engine is 50% torn down...no bits of metal were found in the oil pan. Shortblock should be dropped off tomorrow or thursday at machinist.

 

GearHeinz says the rings were giving out and most likely the oil pump collapsed inside but he hasn't taken it apart yet.

 

Motor will be done in 1-2weeks from now

 

LOL no shop is going to stand behind a blown engine. It's never their fault, trust me.

 

^thats what I would assume with most shops but maybe im dumb but I believe GearHeinz will. I hope I don't have to find out either way

 

I think most stand behind their work IF and only if there is conclusive proof that their work was to blame for a failure. It's like any warranty or insurance, but for a severely damaged, blown engine, there are so many probable causes that it's very difficult to accurately point the finger.

 

^i understand that and I'm fine with it. Basically I see it as an insurance for if something goes wrong extremely prematurely ala midz350 and Cass007
