Shortblock is ready and engine will be assembled next week. Took a few days longer then expected.

In the meanwhile here is a pic of the 370Z GearHeinz has been working on. Car has a HKS twin turbo kit.

hey quick question, Why didn't you use the Cosworth 96mm piston rings and just file them down? Reason I'm asking is because I have the Cosworth 95.75 pistons also and I called up Cosworth USA to ask what rings I should use and was advised eater the 96mm or OEM Nissan 97.75mm rings.

I was skeptical about the 96mm rings due to added stress but the Cosworth representative told me its fine to use them, and that the stress is minimal.

Cosworth told me that they source their piston rings from totalseal & nissan so the machinist ordered the exact ones i needed from totalseal. When I spoke with cosworth they never mentioned filing down the 96mm rings but i probably would of not gone that way anyways.
