It's not too big. I ran a 98 on a 96 bore. won't hurt a thing. HKS 97mm has been used on stock bore with no issues as well.
That being said, just run the HR gasket unless you are planning on 700+

20 thous is actually 96mm, stock bore is 95.5mm, 96.7mm is 47 thous overbore.
but the point is yah 96.7 isnt too big at all pretty sure the dynosty HG i use are 97mm too but i cant remember 100%
a little bigger probably be a good idea anyway to account for the different piston to wall clearances of the different pistons since a 96 mm piston the bore is likely to be a little bigger then 96mm anyway, dont wanna contact the hg with the piston and then it not seal lol.

Motor is now back in the car, tune is way off. Have to install the new injectors and schedule for tuning.

the fuel wasn't way off, mechanic didn't realize I have a haltech ecu and was going by the odb2 readings. doesn't matter anyways because it has 1000cc injectors now and needs to be retuned.

Just got tuned 500@9 psi. 560@14 psi. Could do 650 on e85 he says but will probably run out of injector. Very conservative tune.

Not really considering the dyno used.
