Alright well as some of you know, I have been F/I'd on my stock '06 350z for the past 2 years. My first boost setup was with a Vortech system, running a T-Trim and custom intercooler setup. It made good power that way, and I may have even stayed that way until the charger blew up one me while doing 150+ mph....on a closed road of course ; ) I then switched to the Greddy TT kit a little over a year ago and ever since then it has been no looking back. My Greddy kit made great power on the stock block, 478whp/449wtq @ 9psi. The motor took the abuse of me beating the living crap out of it daily and never had any motor problems. Now I am pulling the motor and building it to see what this kit/car can really do.
I decided to make a thread to document my build and showcase that power can be made with these cars with out breaking the bank. This thread is not to put down anyone's build in the past or call out any shops, it is simply to show that you can make great numbers out of these motors using simple parts and a lot of good ole boost. As well since this is a DIY build my expenses will be less factoring no cost of pulling or assembly of the motor. My budget for this build is $9,000. In that budget will be the motor, turbo builds, custom fuel feed & external pump ( which if gains enough interest could be replicated easily for a plug & play system for the 350z/G35 guys on here ), and cosmetic work such as exterior and interior paint. Everything will be done by me and a few freinds in my garage, except the assembly of the short block which will be handled by Kyle @ IPP. My power goal for the car is north of 700whp with stock heads & cams. Whether I can achieve that with pump and meth or with race gas we shall see, but I am confident that it can be done with pump and meth and a ton of boost : )
Ill update this thread weekly with status and pictures. Now onto the build list...
IPP Stage 1 Shortblock
ARP Main Suds & L19's
HR Headgaskets
Stock Heads & Cams
20g turbos from Blouch Turbo here in Pa
Custom feed line & bosch 044 inline pump as well as an AAM basic return
JWT flywheel with RPS max 6 puck 300zx clutch
Meth system (to be determined)
Utec ems for now (yea thats right....)
Stock intake mani
I already have the Greddy TT kit as well as AAM 3" downpipes and 3" exhaust
Yea I know its a really simple build list, however I am confident that it will make the power that I want it to make.
Pics of the process so far:

Interesting. Good luck with the build. Im surprised your car made that power on the stock block. How long did you run/drive the car like that?

Good luck, but I think you're going to have a large challenge making 700+whp with stock cams/intake manifold and those smallish turbos.
UTEC is going to be a limiting factor too since you'll probably approach 20lbs of boost and that means 2lbs of boost for every load site.
I did a "budget" build of sorts with my car 2 years ago...and ran into breathing problems with the stock cams and stock intake manifold.
I still spent over $10,000 on my parts alone when it was all said and done. (I do my own work).

Call it ballsy if you want, but I intend to see it through to the end and very confident I will reach my goal.
Berto, I am doing the 20g's to settle the debate that everyone has been on claiming the 20g's never were reliable or a great option for us. Down the road I may add cams, but for now this build it more or less to disprove some known statements.
Tuning Chris will be done at a shop local to me, Ill be using ARP L19 and oem HR HG. Injectors are DW
