07 built GTM stage 2 Turnkey: "Service engine soon"-light is on. What to do now?
Hi!
Like the head said. Since 3k miles I got my HR engine built for the GTM stage 2 twins. The car has total 13k miles. Is it a serious problem? Engine is just running strong! Nothing under the car or around the motor looks like it would blow. Got also the AAM 2.5 inch cats for the 07 350z. Could it be that ?
Thank you very much,
help my baby : ).
Alex.

Noone can tell you untill you figure the code.
1. Pull the code
2. Search that code on this thread or engine sticky thread or google
3. Fix the problem.
Or take it back to shop.

can u explain alittle more... so all u need is the osiris cable and I can just upload the files to the ecu without even removing it? how much does this cost?

Yes - you can reflash and run diagnostics without touching the ECU. You just need the cable and a laptop with the UpRev software, visit www.uprev.com. Osiris comes with Cipher. GTM has a deal with UpRev for their turn key kits to provide a pre-packaged stock ECU tune customized for their kit. For a few dollars more than just a mail in reflash, you will be able to:
1. Diagnose and clear CELs from the stock ECM, ABS, and BCM computers (Cipher)
2. Log stock sensor data (Cipher)
3. Reflash out/disable CEL codes that are irrelevant to your setup (such as O2 sensor and cat efficiency codes if you run test pipes) (Osiris)
4. Tune the stock ECU for various applications such as economy, performance, etc. (Osiris)

The turbo kit came with the programing cable, this cable gives you the ability to pull codes in case the check engine light come on.
There is not even one justifiable reason for the light to be on , if the light is on then something is wrong which means the system is working
pull the codes, e mail them to us and we will get you squared away .
Sam

thats what i do everyday. I got more lights on my dash then a rocket ship. Tire pressure, Gas gauge broke, CEL and mostly cruise so i dont get tickets
No check engine light on my gtm tt and no cats either. If you have the cable its really amazing what you can do with the software. I remember sitting in my car rolling up and down the windows through the computer when I first got it just because I could.
My check engine lights been off for awhile but it never surprises me if it comes on.
They make non foulers for your test pipes BTW (I'm sure you know that, but just for others who are curious) that will stop catalyst codes.
Random misfire is fixed with proper plugs, gapping, and tune.
