good to see you didnt have much trouble mounting the turbo to the manifold or routing that flex intake hose.

make sure to wrap those fuel lines running up the firewall

SO good news i pulled the oil pan to put in my spacer... Nothing wrong with my oil visibly. there where no chunks no metal scrapings etc.

Bad news is i Gave the drivers side turbo another try and its just not working... i have images attached. When i try to insert the turbo the frame brace is in the way

cant see pics at work, but I assume you mean that black metal piece thats shaped like a wide 'A'.

just take it off for now. Didnt look like you needed to notch it on the pass side, but I had to notch it on both sides to fit.

If you just cut a chunk out, yes. You would need to reinforce the notched area.

A little OT but why are the turbos so rusty on a new kit did you leave them outside in the snow

I was thinking the same thing, and the dump pipe weld is rusty too. If it is suposed to be stainless, it got welded with the wrong filler rod or cleaned with a steel brush..

Should have stoped by. I am in full production this weekend, trying to get 3 sest of pipes built.

The jigs I built work great. So far all the sets I made fit just perfect on the car, it's a real time saver. For now I am test fitting everything on the car, just to make sure.

Your pipes are wating in a 3" card board tube.

Man sorry to hear about your Dad, hope he's alright! Also gotta love the rapid climate changes in Calgary eh. Rusting your brand new turbos when they were in your garage. Still gotta make it over and check the progress out first hand.
