vortech fuel ?
ok everyone i have a 06 5AT g35 coupe and i have a vortech supercharger im going to be installing this weekend and i have a couple questions to ask. I searched for days on here and on g35driver and couldnt find what i was looking for. I have the vortech with the 3.12 that im going to be putting on and didnt no what i should be doing for my fuel system. I all ready have RC440cc injectors and wasnt sure if i should just get a walboro 255 intank pump and junk the stock vortech fuel stuff or just use the stock stuff with stock injectors?? the mods i have on the car right now are... i will also be tuning with a UTEC
FI exhaust
stillen high flow cats
5/16 copper spacer
VB upgrade
im looking to be at or around 380 with the 3.12 pullie and the mods i have right now.. is that to much to be shooting for with that set up? and im not looking to really go anything more then that.
thanks alot
John

yes with the 440's and the utec u can get rid of the vortech pump and fmu and ss box...use the 440's a walbro 255 and do phunks sirljet mod and get a good solid tune on that utec and be good to go...good luck
thanks alot guys for the good info. now do u think my 440cc injectors will be ok with that much power 380..like i dont want to max them out i would like to keep them at or around 80%..u think thats possible with them and that power lever?

I would get larger injectors and 2.87 pulley from the start. You are going to want more power after a few months. Everyone does. Get at least 550cc injectors and you can always just swap the pulley later and retune.
he says he already has the 440's so i would say try it out and see where ur at...my bet is that u will be fine..if not then yeah i would get some 550's...If he didnt already have them then yes i would say to get the 550's from the start so there is more room for more fuel but like i said he already has them i beleive...as far as going with the 2.87 pulley from the start i def. disagree with that..i would start with the 3.12 pulley for sure...down the road maybe do the 2.87 but not at the start when he should be concerned with getting everything straight and running correctly and he says he wants a reliable stock block car, using the 2.87 is a gamble on the stock motor and also a gamble on the blower overspinning and takes away from the factory warranty if he happened to have a bad blower after a few miles and not as safe as the 3.12 for a reliable daily driver in any way u look at it..

he is 5AT, so to get the 380whp he will need more boost and fuel, but not all dyno's are the same.
Just install the injectors with the walbro fuel pump and see what you get.
I would invest on a tranny cooler atleast. look at the B&M 70264

good point on the 5AT i didnt even realize he was..id still try the 440's and see where they are at
I've got a 04 G Coupe....auto with his mods, plus a few, and hit 393 rwhp...3.12 pulley (9 psi) with 600cc injectors and a Walbro. Tuned at UpRev in Austin, TX.
Just throwing that out there.
