Default Need help please!

ok WTF I can't get the aps oil pan off the car to grind and install the fumoto...I have literally hung my weight on it and it won't budge...yes of course I have all the bolts out...so wth is the issue? am I missing something or did they seal it with stuff design to survive a nuke?????

yes, the RTV is strong. You need to stick a flat blade screw driver inbetween the upper and pan and the APS and carefully pry it loose. Really isn't rocket science

LOL you guys are clowns...I DID get it off but DAYAM! it took a prybar wrapped in a towel and the bastard finally came off..I couldn't freaking believe how solid the sealant held it..I could've ran around town without any bolts in it

Anyhow..its off, cleaned up, ground down, new fumoto valve installed and ready to reinstall...I did find that one of the coolant lines is kinda ballooned, puffy etc..so new hose for that tomorrow and I'll put it back together.

Now a whole list of stuff to check etc getting ready for the BBORR.


XKR...did you get my PM about the BBORR?
