Default Clutch Recomendations on build

im getting ready to upgrade my clutch from the stage 1 jwt setup.... i plan to keep the jwt flywheel and just replace the plate.

What clutch are you guys using , my plan is to try to make 500 plus rwhp.... i was already planing to buy the fidanza 4.3 clutch which i believe holds 700+ torque.... any suggestions i know twin disk is always recomended but trying to get the close to stock clutch feel

thanks for your input

A twin disc is going to give you more of a stock feel than a heavy single.

Have you looked into JWT's other clutch disc? I believe it is rated to 700ft lbs of torque. Plus it has the same feel as a stock clutch for a fraction of a twin disc.

For a single setup stay away from Comp Clutch. I had their stage 4 single and it was really heavy. I switched to an OS giken twin disk and it's lighter than the comp clutch stage 4. *talking about clutch pedal feel*

I don't have a recommendation for a single disk. I only have my "un" recommendation for you. lol

*cough* twindisk *cough*

+1

DXD Southbend will hold more power and be cheaper than anything else in the range. If you are going for 650+rwtq they do have a new version but it will be less driveable.

My Stage 5 full face held 700+rwtq on highboost, and 600rwtq daily for 10K miles....not bad for a $500 clutch.
