The RE11 and AD08 are quite a bit better tires in all performance categories than the other tires you have listed (except maybe serious standing water hydroplane resistance, the PS2 and F1 GS-D3 are really good in the wet). RE11 and AD08 far outstrip the RE050A P, PS2, GS-D3, etc in all facets of performance (not including road manners properties here like noise, harshness, tread life expectancy, simply talking about traction in all it's facets). How they're going to react to your camber/toe setup I do not know, whether their road manners are going to be to your liking I don't know, but if you put all 5 tires you listed on an identical car and run laps, the RE11 and AD08 are going to be the tires with the fastest lap times.
The Nitto NT05 is seems to have promise too from the very few reviews out there, but it's so new that it hasn't had the performance testing that the RE11 and AD08 have had yet (testing by autoX and road course guys, who are the guys I personally trust to tell the true nature and performance of a tire). No autoX or serious road course lappers use the PS2, F1 GS-D3, RE050A PP, etc. They're not at the top of the heap when it comes to traction like the RE11 and AD08s are.

rcdash, RA1 is not offered in 19" sizes and the T1R (he meant T1R, there is no such tire as the TR1) is pretty underwhelming when it comes to all out performance, not in the same league as the tires you've already said you're considering. not even worth mentioning in the same sentence.

Excellent posts - thanks. The RE11s are looking to be at the top of my list. I just looked at the T1R and RA1 and agree they don't fall into the same category.
The NT05 has a 200 treadwear rating but has gotten some pretty good reviews by track enthusiasts, including a FI G running 500+ whp on the track: http://g35driver.com/forums/wheels-t...05-review.html
They are available for $246 in 275/30R19 as str8dum1 indicated above with a 25.5" diameter and (only) a W speed rating. I'll eventually be looking for a rear pair and finding 295 or 305 may be an issue but that's a problem for another day.
Hmmm... tough call between the RE11 and NT05.

I'm thinking the same thing.
I have Khumo ECSTA MX's up front (245-40-18) on a 8.5 in wheel. I am considering a stickier front tire to help stop the "push"
last season I have scott's old BFG DR's (295-35-18), lots of grip (even lateral if you let them lean before laying down power).....
Haven't decided on new rear tires for this season yet.

^ With the redesigned v2 SPL a arms you can go to +1 to -2.5 relative to stock (so about -0.5 to -4 camber on a stock car, but on my lowered car the range is -1.8 to close to -5 camber). I have the arms set to most positive camber possible (all shims in place).
EDIT: posting pics of the front tire camber wear - perhaps with the recent alignment, the current trouble spot won't be an issue? It looks like the area that wore down is now not even part of the contact patch.

I am pushing the Nitto NT05 for fronts. The best tire I have ever run on the street: BY FAR!
Totally satisfied. Was looking at the R888's before I tried out the NT05's. For me, there isn't another tire to look at switching to.

Toe has always been in spec, supposedly... Obviously something was not right since the contact patch has changed after the recent alignment (current toe is IN 0.08 on both sides). I now have a firestone lifetime alignment and will be getting it checked out every 6 mos along with better monitoring for this kind of wear and tear.
To conclude this thread, after talking with Sharif, I've decided to go with the RE-11 up front. In addition I will replace the R888 in back with 305 RE11s after ZdayZ in preparation for time attack events over the summer. This will put me into a more competitive class and provide better year round street performance (the R888s are terrible in the 40-60 degF range). I understand that I will be losing some traction in the rear with this change but with the tires seeing mostly "street temps", it may not be so drastic (hopefully).
Thanks for everyone's input. The NT05 and AD08 are also great alternatives.

Total toe-in should be in between 0-2mm
Good luck!
