3rd Annual Forged Performance Airstrip Event!
Just a few random shots. I didn't take many pics since there were several people with real cameras there taking tons of shots. There must be at least 500+ pics out there from the event. As soon as people get back to civilization from Fontana I'm sure they will post up

I have some video that I will try to post later today.

Just a quick story about the end of the day at the strip. The highlight for me, since my car was a sh!tbox at the strip, was the caravan into Fontana. The lineup was zmedicx, XKR, rcdash, adrian (medic's friend), mad scientist, D350Z10, ToastZ and myself.
The road to Fontana is twice as good as I had heard. We blew through it in a caravan and it was a complete blast. I have a short vid of the lineup. The dragon is just like the back roads here in PA, but smooth pavement and miles long. After hitting the twisties I realized just how much I need to learn the limits of my car and some good sways
.
I made the meet in Carlisle today and wished I had stayed in Fontana the extra day, it was completely disappointing. After spending time with some real high HP Z/G, everything else somewhat pales by comparison

Chris, the runs through the mountains the day you left and today were awesome. Lots of caravans head out all the time for a quick run through the twisties. The rain made it a bit dicey but there were several sunny spells, especially today (Sat). Someone did go off the mountain today though
- didn't hear who exactly before I left (other than it was a blue z). The few pics and vids I got will be up Sunday pm.

....Not even Dil believes that...After running the car a few times and seeing the way it reacts to the TQ.....I did not feel it was safe to race side by side....Yes I have Yoko because I am sponsored by them...They are sending me a new compound mix to try...Hoping it will help.....Someone mentioned traction control.....I did not want to take the chance and not have my car ready because of issues with TC install.
I asked Raj to race on the way back to Fontana.....but he chickened out
.....I turned it up to 17psi on the way back and did a quick run from 80 mph and it was ok.....Taylor got to drive my car at the event...and I got to see first hand how it would lose traction from the outside. The clutch did not help things either....The car runs strong ....but it's a hand full even for an experienced driver....Only a fool would take a car with this much power that he has less than 24 hours of seat time and try and push it. Look what happened to the Viper guy.....he almost ended the even early for all of us.
With TC....we will be able to control this beast. I offered a few people at the even a chance to drive the beast....only Tylor and Sharif took my offer.
It was great fun....it was nice seeing you all again.....and also nice meeting all the new members....See you all next year.....I plan to bring a non- Nissan next year

They liked the cars and wanted to play.
All good.
Mike, I gave several folks rides and they could see the boost gauge - it read between 13 to 16 psi pretty consistently (ramp up). Seriously! I did turn meth injection on, but it was not tuned for meth. It has also never been tuned for more than 15 psi, so that was just a safety. So much fun.
And as I recall, I pulled up side by side with you on the way back to Fontana - I looked over, smiled, and then????

When I took off and went ahead of the group.....I was testing 17 psi from 80 mph.......road was clear then also....didn't see you pull up then also
I asked you before we left the airport to run on the way to Fontana...because traction would not be a problem on the freeway ....you said no
....You got to be kidding.....You pulled up when there was no way to run!! When the guy with the yellow Z pulled up to the front....the road was clear after that....didn't see you pull up next to me then

On the freeway I would have turned the boost up.

I had already passed Mad Scientist and ToastZ before I realized I hadn't turned on the record button, sorry guys. Its Adrian, Dill, Raj, Mike and Randy. Just after this, Paul almost got sideswiped by some moron in a Land Cruiser.

There was no point in making a highway run. We all know what the outcome of that would've been even on your wastegate pressure. I'll be happy with my small victory on the tiny airstrip!

That's not true Chris..... You would have been the first to take that race
....
Rich ...... Hal was all over the runway on his first race that he lost... He had to get off the gas half way down the track.... The bumpy section. I would pull on Raj until I tried to shift in that section.... Then I would feel the car getting loose and I would have to lift.....
Hal in the end was running good.... I don't think you would have a problem once you got use to it.
BTW.... I am 100 miles from home.no tickets so far
