It was great that the majority of cars were pretty evenly matched. No one aside from Hal really walked away with a huge lead. That's what made it fun.
Then came vehicle management. Running certain folks back to back led to some heat soak issues, which some certain individuals took clear advantage of...lots of fun! It became as much of a psychological game as it was a physical power advantage. LOL

It was nice meeting and running you man. Your car is down right amazing. Just watched your YouTube video in your sig and
........ how the hell are you VQ TT guys making so much damn tq.
I had a stock block and stock clutch and still won some races! I didn't even bother trying to run zmedic, blackbird, dil, toastz, or Hal because even with getting lucky and having traction they probably still would've passed me by just pedaling it haha But what's with the TT HR guys come on, I was the only one out representing us! lol

Great videos from the event guys. I TRULY, regret not being able to go.
The feeling of being at ZdayZ around other Z/G enthusiasts cant be beat, all the drama and BS of the forums goes out the window, and everybody has fun.
Thanks for sharing the vids.

Sucks I missed it this year, I better be there next year.
I hate that I missed it this year, too, but family comes first. I will bring you some purple drank next year.
I came back from south GA early on Saturday and called *thinking* I might go up for the day...(quickly remembered everyone usually cuts out early on Sunday morning, so opted not to waste my cash)...and they had 21 rooms available for Sat night. Seems a lot of people cancelled this year.

It was due to rain on Sunday, so many cut out a little bit early. Saturday was nice though. The Fontana folks were nice about not making me pay for Sat night (even though I had it reserved and cancelled).
I think there are some genuine safety issues when you talk about 3k-3.5k feet of open throttle. You are going to get some cars over 160+. There would need to be some level of technical inspection (tires, a cage, etc) for that kind of speed. Call me a wuss, but I'd hate to see someone have a tire cut down at 160-170 and have no cage, harnesses, etc.
Probably.
Probably.
