Default JWT TT KIT FOR G35 ON A 350z?

Anyone know if the G35 530bb kit will fit a 350z with an ings+1 bumper? I talked with JWT regarding it and they weren't sure. Basically the kits are the exactly the same except the intercooler for the g35 is designed for optimal flow with a stock g35 bumper.

The only thing I was able to find on the forum is that the 350z kit doesn't fit on a G35 but that doesn't really help.

The replacement parts to convert the g35 kit to 350z is around $1300.

Anyone?

I don't think it would cost you that much to get it to work if you can weld aluminum. Or get intake and IC piping redone using parts from www.siliconeintakes.com.

Some piping is slightly different as well as the IC, I have a buddy that had a 350Z kit installed on his G and some piping needed to be modified to fit properly. $1300 seems steep the fab cost should be less than that.

That one IC looks like it's falling apart (bottom plates separated? )...

i wonder why they would go through the hassle of making a kit to convert from one platform to another? must be for people who just like to spend money.

g35 and 350z kits are exactly the same except for $300 worth of piping and a different intercooler.

I thought you just had the SFR kit installed? EDIT: nevermind, just saw you decided to change direction. I don't think the jwt kit has the potential of the SFR, depending on the turbo selection of course on the SFR... The 530bb a solid kit though for max 450-500 whp or thereabouts.

In order to get a good deal on an engine I have to take the 530bb kit as well. I will be happy with near 500hp. If i want more in the future its not a big deal to upgrade to larger turbos.

Well in my case i switched from a stock g bumper to a aftermarket one. With the G IC from JWT it would have looked goofy so i switched it to a 350 kit and it looks good.

Yup, you're right ... The bottom intercooler is the one that would be available for sale.

Bone stock kit maybe... but with proper supporting mods you can go well above 390. I have a custom kit with the same turbos as the 530BB's doing 415whp on a very conservative tune and relatively low boost. There's plenty of potential still.

I did 420whp at 7psi on a stock block on a built engine with more boost I am sure they do 450whp maybe more depending on the supporting mods and how hard you push the turbos.
