Default ***Sound Performance Boost Activated Exhaust Cutout Results!!! VIDEO INSIDE

I just finished up the video for the results of our SP Boost Activated Exhaust Cutout and wanted to share for everyone who will be waking up in a couple of hours!!

Sound Performance Boost Activated Exhaust Cutout Results!!!

Mods:

SP Single turbo kit
GT4294 Journal bearing .9 a/r
SP Long Tube Race header (now standard on all SP turbo kits)
SP Quick Spool Valve
SP 4" Downpipe/midpipe
SP Boost Activated Exhaust Cutout
Top Secret Titanium exhaust
SP400 Stage 2 transmission
ProEFI 128 Standalone

Results:

At only 17psi, we are pleased to report a 55whp increase with our Boost Cutout!!! It must be noted that the power potential is directly proportional to boost output and will increase with every psi added. Not only do you get more top end power, but you can have a quieter exhaust on the street and the screaming top end power when you need it!!

Enjoy!

Mike, this is a very easy thing to setup on your car. I have them on my G35. My car is at Forged right now if you want to get a look at them. If the car is complete when you are there, feel free to take it for a spin so you can try them out for yourself. They are nice and quiet when closed, but once you get a little over 4 or 5psi, they start to open and get real loud.

Very impressive!!! 55rwhp at same boost is NO JOKE!!
Any pics of this done to a TT set-up? Would this be best applied 1 to each downpipe? So for TT app's you would need 2?

That video would have been better without the gay music, you can barely hear the car.

Impressive for sure. I think I saw a thread on the net one time where atp turbo used to sell boost activated cutouts but discontinued them, I'd rather have one of these than an electric one.

looks like you bottleneck from a 4" exhaust to a 2" exhaust.

Why not put a dyno with a 4" turbo back exhaust/muffler and see what the gains are, not one where you are choking the heck out of the system.

Actually the exhaust is a 3.5" so it does neck down from 4".

The idea of the cutout is that we now dont have to run those annoyingly loud exhausts all day. You can even run the stock exhaust and be nice and quiet and still make 1000 HP !!!

Actually we did a pair on a G35 2 weeks ago. The car made over 600 RWHP on the little APS kit on pump gas.

That car was on 14psi with cams. No spray. We were on a crunch and couldn't do back to back runs with it.

What kind of timing are you running to make roughly 25+ hp per lbs of boost?
