LOL midz350!!! but I thought your HR failure was not due to ECU right? There was a different guy that like took his car from GTM without it being tuned to perfection. GTM was not comfortable at all with this but the guy insisted taking it anyways. Then down the road there was smoke and stuff and blah blah
That wasn't you or was it? I'm getting ppl confused up in here yo.
I live in the ****ing middle east man so it wasn't me.
I drove my car a hard 9000 KM and it ran like a champ and the tune was data logged and it was great until one day some m***f***R asked a friend of mine (hasn't midz blown blown his engine yet) 3 hours later KABOOM!!!
so that means i should only spend on a fully built short block? cuz thats the other part thats unclear for me, will a short block suffice or just go ahead and grab a long block?
There is a pretty big price difference (to me at least) between a short block build and a long block build, for 500-600hp, I wouldnt touch the heads, specially HR. Short block build is what I would recommend, our VQ heads are designed pretty damn good, look at Hal's new record, with untouched heads as far as machining and porting is concerned.
gotcha, i've decided to do the full short block and am looking at forge performance's short block they have, from the specs', its got more than enough to keep my happy for the power i'm looking for, thank you for the inputs everyone!
