UTEC help
Hey guys it me again, i just want to know if some one knows where can i find some kind of base map for my utec, i want it for a vortech supercharger, i already check it at the turboxs site, but there is only base maps for turbonetics.
i already when to tuned it at the dyno, but tuner guy doesnt know how to tune it, cos he knows all about muscle, turbo cars remaped with revo, unitronics, and thing like that.
So i need a base map for daily use...

You seriously need to find a new tuner
A base map will get you by but wont really be much help as all cars are pretty much different and would need to do your timing and fuel accustomed to your car

i know, i just want a base map to take it to san antonio or houston to tune it. with a real tuner...
find a tuner that can do utec. You can get by with stock map, but don't go into boost until you get it tuned. Or take the cog belt off, so there no way you can get boost until a tune. I recommend getting it done immediately. GL
and i cant drive it with out the belt, cos i change the injetors
When i drove to my tuner i swapped back to stock injectors and ran without the belt....when i got to my tuner i swapped back to my 600cc injectors

that makes no sense why you cant run without the belt...
Here's why, your 0% fuel column control the fuel when off boost. When you are not driving hard and there's is no boost, thats the exact same as driving with no cog belt (minus a little less load from not turning the blower obviously). Understand?
All you need to do is tune the 0% fuel column, until you get stoich AFR (~14). Go for a drive without the cog belt. You say its too rich, well then make the cell in the 0% column at the rpm its too rich more negative.
With 600cc injectors -10 is a good starting point for the entire 0% column. So with 440cc, try -6 for the entire 0%

just go into a map, and set the )% column to around -15 for the entire rpm range, and you'll be good to get to your tuner without worries. NOTE: DO NOT GO INTO BOOST!!!! it is very easy to drive around without going into positive pressure. it doesn't happen on its own....only if you push you foot down too far!!
/\ +1 don't use the TN base map... try the APS and that should be better... The TN 550cc base map has whopping -2 to -5 on the 0% column which is to rich if you have a 550cc injector.
