Hey, I have the biggest POS wheels around (at least thats what everyone tells me lol)....but to me, when the car is moving, they all look the same...

I'm not a "hard parker", so I don't really care what it looks like in a lot.....now a vid of it moving, thats where its at!

its not the greatest performance wise. they r work wheels n weight a lot.. also factor in im on stretched tires with about -2.5 camber n makes for lots of wheel spin.

the reasons i would never run them right there.

i have over 25 grand in the engine and performance mods. To limit my performance with wheel slip is silly. Might as well had kep the stock block.

it looks nice though so to each his own.

dont be to quick to change. The reliability of the stock block is quite nice.

amen, money starts disappearing fast to make a noticable increase with a built block.

My car was a beast with stock block. It's considerably faster now, but it came with a huge cost.

u can get 305s in 19s

with as much power as ur pushing a bit of weight on rims aint hurting so bad... a bit of compromise for looks is ok....have track rims on the side actually, this is true "To limit my performance with wheel slip is silly.".....but for the track for the most part...its not like you threat the streets like a race track right?.........anyways...heck those "works" might even be giving you a bit more traction by running the extra little bit of weight lol

true. With my schedule if i decide i want to go to the track i don't want to waste the time and effort to change rims.

I like driving my car straight to the track right as it is off the street so for me that wouldn't work. I built my car so it's in 100% race condition 24/7. No worrying about draining fuels, chaning this that or the other.

good idea for the op if he wants a "drag" configuration and a "street" config.

yea tru im still contemplating both... Again the rims are a cool style n i love em but remember also that im running a stretched 255 in the rear on a 10.5 rim and -2.5 camber.. This set-up aint for track but i didnt really build the car for track I have it for a lot of daily driving.

And I do treat the streets like its a track! lol.... Again since my wheel set-up sucks for traction on the low gears best i can really do is like a 40 roll from 2nd n i have to feather it in otherwise i fishtail the car.... Mainly just have "fun" on the streets
btw tires for 19s r more expensive than 18s or 20s!

If i had the awesomeness built block with ur big ol huge turbo i wouldnt sacrifice and wheel spin with that much power!
But im stock block n i tried to make it a mix of show n go style... So its not really suitable for drag.. This is why i'm thinkin bout having a set of drag wheels for a track set-up... But to each his own i can slam it on the street n look good while doin it!
