I am using a (knockoff) HKS SSQ with the insert removed. At 7 psi of boost it is very quiet. I don't really care for the sound either. I was thinking about switching to a synapse but I haven't heard much about them. The nice thing about the synapse is that it has multiple flange options so I could swap it in without changing the flange that is already welded onto my piping.

Miraflores Lima is where I was born, dont know much about it other than what Ive seen in my visits back to the motherland.

Alberto the SWOOSH sound ur car makes at WOT sounds nice.. r u runnin open dumps also? Im sure the built block n the massive pounds of boost ur runnin must help also
I run open dumps as well, the sound WOT is mainly that but the K&N intakes made things slightly louder than the stock foam Greddy crap.

Isn't there only one size flange? Why would it matter if you are going to weld it on?

Well I'm sure there are sizes for a reason. Would want the flange to be larger then the pipe.

I'm think 50 mm would be good? Can anyone else confirm?

I am using a Turbosmart Vee port unit however I am having some issues with it. Maybe you guys can help me out with some advice.

First things first does it matter how long the vacuum line is? Is the theory the shorter the better apply here? Also when using a hose, is a silicone hose a bad idea?

I have adjusted the blow off valve by spinning it to the softest setting. However under partial throttle I hear compressor surge. I took the valve apart and i could see where it moved up and down. So i know it opens when the car builds boost but it stays closed at idle and when the vehicle is revved. Also my idle is fine and the car does not die.
Any suggestions?
