Nothing wrong with Emanage if you know how to use it. Dont scare the guy lol. Its been covered before, most emanage disasters were due to lack of ignition harness / inexperience with it.

It's jus really outdated and there's so much now that offer way better control and functionality as opposed to the Emanage. I wouldnt wanna drop coin for boost and then skimp out on one of the most important parts which is the ecu. The right ecu goes hand in hand wit a boost set-up.
Sometimes the piece of the puzzle connects perfectly and other times you can jam it in there!

At least with the UTEC you've got real timing control (tuning from TDC), knock and overboost cut.
Any other 'piggyback' is just delays disaster in my opinion.Good luck!
