Nice.. what gear was the dyno pull? I thought the boost kick in much earlier. I think I saw a post at one point that it hit 9psi at 3600rpm even on lower gear (3rd gear I think). Look like you are hitting 9psi at about 3900rpm which is still very good though.

Not bad at all!!! Congrats - that's a good looking power curve for 9 psi.

Does Boosted Performance have a website yet with pics and info on pipe sizing, turbo options and all that?

I would expect the best customer care too if i were the 1st customer of the kit...videos are def in order.

btw... you should post your review of "shop" in the Sticky thread too

Congrats!
it peaked/spiked at 9.4 but it was 8.5-8.6 all the way to redline. I mentioned earlier that I had to replace 2 gaskets before the turbo which could result in better numbers and 9.4 all the way to redline.. but 415 @ 8.5ish is pretty good with great tq

I'll be sure to write a review on the shop thread as well

5th being 1:1 in the 6mt.

Sasha posted his logs and it saw 9psi at 3200rpm.. I have a little leak somewhere causing a bit slower spool but that is getting fixed this week!

Boost comes on quick.. even in 2nd gear ( being short ).. as soon as you punch it it smokes the tires from 3K- all the way to redline.

Thanks man! I love how the powercomes in and kicks you right in the ***.. (comparing it to my vortech set up) the powerband has shifted completely ( duh ) ... Ill write a quick review of my opinion of this kit vs the vortech..

He does not have a website at the moment.. im sure he will soon enough. I know his logos and everything are in the making.

You can check out the options and everything in his profile or by contacting him

Yeah, street logs are different from dyno. There is more load on the street so you'll hit boost sooner. One day we should meet up so I can take a look at your system...

BTW with regards to boost pressure vs rpm. This is a large T4 turbo, and you guys are used to seing the small T3's that are all over the place. I think there is only a hand full of guys that have T4 turbos on the VQ. These were all custom builds, with tons of modifications. Quamen/Hal come to mind...

Like Vince said, this turbo would really shine in the 15+psi range. It can push a whole lot of air and make very good power at the top.

Stay tuned for Jeffs 6765 results. Just shipped it out... I can't wait to see his numbers.

Hey man. I love it. I'm fascinated now. can I get a picture of your car from the side so I can see how low? I see the picture on BP's thread, but I'd like one from your car since you're lowered..

Dang, I should've told you Vince has my Cosworth manifold there. Would have been cool to see what power it makes with that as well. Any plans to upgrade?

i'm pumped, kit will be installed this weekend and dyno next weekend.

to whoever asked about a lowered G. look at boosted performance's build log. you need to do a search because that is a huge factor that he coverd over and over and over and over again.

NOTHING ON THE TURBO KIT IS LOWER THAN ANY POINT OF THE CAR. Therefore, the car will scrape before any of this kit will touch the ground.

OMFG!!! Just saw the video and I wish I didn't. Looks like there might be another Vortech kit up for sale soon. Your car sounds down right nasty.

looking good. You can see how a turbo has much more potential than the supercharger.

Here's my vortech dyno at 15psi vs Vas's at 9psi.

The vortech is pretty much optimized while the turbo can quadruple that boost easily.

But on a stock block, I bet it woulda been a good race
