I do remember some other member having problems with the air intake under boost with the APS ST.....collapsing or something

Yeah...that has happened as well. Never experienced it but I've heard of that as well. Mine developed a tear over time and it appeared a little piece got sucked up but no critical damage was done luckily (we even sent it out to Blousch to make sure and double check). I'd love to go hard pipe but man that's a PIA area to fab up so I've been delaying until I can't find anymore soft ones.

I already fabbed a hard pipe to the intake of the APS ST; that's ruled out. And you're right, it was a PITA to fabricate!

Although I don't have anything objective at the moment, I'm leaning towards this being an electrical issue of sorts... well, at least the lack of boost anyways. Noise may or may not be related. Still plugging away at it each night...

>>Problem located?<<

Well, can't say I've heard very many instances of a Kinetix manifold splitting like this, but I rechallenged the car on a boost leak test and this became immediately apparent:

So... seeing as the welds have already split, should I have this thing rewelded or $hitcan this manifold and start anew?

^thats a kinetix manifold? looks pretty DIY'ish. Runners arent lined up, no penetration on the welds..

That could easily be rewelded and fixed though...

Damn, I said you'd be surprised.

Think I should let go of my Kinetix as well, while it's still worth something
