Not necessarily and yes correct. 26" + 3.5FD + 8000rpm's = stay in 4th

OP-I have not even taken my car to the shop yet since the break in, all interior electronics are disabled and the car wont even think about starting.

Ive been too busy with other personl issues to even have it looked at

From your pics, it almost looks as though the first vertical mount catch can feeds into a second stage can that has 2 vents. Is that what you did? Ran 1 catch can into a 2nd can and then drained it down?

Yea thats exactly what I did (kinda forgot to mention that) The silver/polished can has the pcv running into it, has a drain on the bottem of it that lets the oil run back into the upper pan, and the other port runs into a modded greddy can and allows it to vent to atmopshere. The greddy can has the driver's side breather and connecting vent from the valve covers running into it and venting to atmosphere as well. Seems to be the ticket as now I have 0 blowby issues.

I would not drain it. It isn't just oil, it's also fuel and other nasty combustion byproducts.

^thats no different than the stock setup where it recircs it all back into the engine. Dont overthink it, just do proper oil changes

But it also goes through the combustion chamber and most of the nasty **** gets expelled through the exhaust.

I dare you to empty your catch can into your oil filler cap

jtgli, nice numbers. I hoped you'd prove me wrong. I can't figure out who BriMaxGuy is though. My only point in the original thread was MAKE THE NUMBERS BEFORE YOU MAKE A THREAD LIKE THAT.

I guess those modified turbos are more capable then we thought they were. These have got to be some of the highest UTEC numbers around.

Let me know if you need any help with your drag setup. I've been dragging this car for almost 7 years now I know exactly what breaks. Also, get some real freaking brakes on that car, those tiny *** stock fronts have to be SCARY to try and stop from well over 100mph with.

myself on that one ha. Thanks for the offer of help with track advice, I may have to take you up on it whenever I finally get to the track. I don't plan on it seeing any track time until it gets below 90+* here...it is just too hot out to enjoy summer right now. Bigger brakes are on the future list, it hasnt been scary yet slowing down but I usually make sure I have enough room that when I do decide to get on it I have plenty of room to coast down then, maybe this coming winter I'll grab some.

Your right... no different than the stock setup... other than making 700whp and pushing more fuel through the engine...

Hey hey, looks like you made your goal, that's some sick power for a non-astronomical price. Good job hitting your goal, now hit the track.

We spent many long hours on this thing, I'm happy its finally done and AWESOME.

Having first hand experience in the passenger seat, let me just say it rocks!

I have to say, I too love the fact that this build is kept SIMPLE!

The more you overcomplicate it by adding unecessary crap is more of a reason that you're asking for trouble imo. The spec list on this is quite short and it has BIG numbers to match. It's nice to see what is achievable without going crazy... and then you can just build on that if needed afterwards.

Are the driveshafts, springs, etc... still stock?

^^ what do you consider going 'crazy'? and unnecessary crap?

The OP has a build that 99% of people on this forum have. Rods, pistons, bolts.

Str8dum1 I think wizard means not going for new/un tested parts and adding complex electronics such as TC and antilag etc etc. You can't go wrong with a basic bottom end build (basic as in not using a fabricated block gard/ convert to a closed deck block/ sleeves/ stroker kit with billit main girdle etc) and some good size turbos!
