Guys,
Whats the normal operating temp, on your water temp gauge? Right now its between 190-210 degrees, during normal driving conditions..

Thanks

will depend on your speed, ambient temp, airflow to radiator, etc, but that is in the normal range

That is about what I run, 180-200 and I usually hit 205-215 if sitting in traffic when hot/humid out. Goes down as soon as I start moving.

mine usually sits in low 190's average. Cruising on the highway it's down low 180's. When i'm boosting it barely breaks 200. I think 207* is the max i've seen on logs.

what are you water temps?

heat soak is a *****. If your engine is the same temps as your coolant then you could imagine that all the pieces would be close to 200*. That's pretty hot to touch. Mine gets that way, after driving around for a few hours my plenum is almost too hot to touch.

Strange thing: the car runs cooler with the A/C on!

cause it runs both fans the entire time the a/c is on. Without the a/c on the fans only kick on when the car is hot.

engine bay temps will probably still be high though because the compressor and condenseor will be giving off a lot of heat.
