All cars after 1996 have OBD so yes, it's compatible with a 2007 Z.

It plugs into the OBD port. It should be as accurate as the ECU reports - it's nothing but a display unit.

got it installed. neat looking little thing.
i can see the codes, clear them and set some neat alarms as well as silence them. like pending cel code lol.

How long is the cord? I'd like to mount mine on the left by the gauge pod.

I just got mine and I have to admit I enjoy it. The information is nice and with a busted gas gauge this will come in handy instead of estimating how much fuel do I have left

My only wish is that is detachable from the unit itself. I would like to take it out of the car whenever I go places where I don't feel comfortable leaving a unit like that out.

too bad it cant read aftermarket sensors.

why cant there be a simple gauge with definable inputs so you can use any sensor. OR a cheaper version of the Spa dual gauges http://www.spa-uk.co.uk/design/dualgauges/

That would clean up the need for all those gauges.
