Truth. This place is boring now. As much as people don't like to admit it, everyone loved the drama with JT, Craig, Julian, Doug, Phil, Alberto, etc. I don't know if people have just lost interest in the car or don't have time to fight it out in the FI section everyday, but its gotten very quiet around here.

Let the fun begin......Rasta Doug is back
I thought it was the other way around..... Drama brings traffic...traffic creates members.... Members bring sponsors... Isn't that what they like??

It isn't about the number of miles but about the number of hard miles .... I could daily drive my setup and get 200k out of it. Or could drive it occasionally for fun and get another 20k out of it. Both would take me five years to do.
My car runs 98% like stock. I have no starting issues or idle issues. When it is hot and I'm in traffic the car gets a little bucky.... And I need to have over 1/2 tank of fuel if driving it hard through turns or my fuel pressure drops. Other than that my only issue is traction.

I have no regrets, then again I do not have my G35 TT anymore either, not sure if that counts. I had the G35 5 years total, 4 of those were boosted and I put over 45000 miles on the built motor with only a minor issue here and there, nothing major and the car never stranded me once. I drove it hard only occasionally at the airstrip and around town, it saw daily multiple "pulls" into max boost (14psi), but never tracked it like I do the gtr. Tracking a car on a road course is brutal, a true test to how well a car is built.

Alright look , no matter what opinions influence you, every motor will react different. You could run a Z for 100k miles with FI and it will never blow and you can run it for 10K miles and it will blow. Yes, there are factors that can influence things like the tune, fuel components, and what not but motors do react different. Hence the reason why you can't take an ECU from a Z with the exact setup as you and put it on your car and expect it to react the same and work perfectly fine. The truth is, it won't! So no matter what opinions someone gives you in this thread, it won't affect how your motor will react. However, this is not to say that you can't take precautionary measures which are always good
