SP Ecut out rattle sound???
Anyone having this issue??
I tightening it as much as it will go and it sounds like a rattling can at start up and noticeable again at acceleration below 2K rpm.
Also anyone notice that it still leaks exhaust even when it's completely close?

exhaust leaks are normal for cutouts. gotta do the RTV sealant trick to get them to seal better. ( well at least for the electric ones).
interested in rattle solution.
is your spool better using the valve vs all close or full open? I would think the little bit extra back pressure would help initial spool.
Hopefully SP responds, as I am thinking of trying one out. Was going to go electric but didnt realize none of them have auto stops, so you have to use a momentary switch to tell the cutout when to stop moving. ghey

It doesn't leak from the ends but from the flap opening. I can put my hand over the cut out and it changes the tone.
The cutout doesn't move and the flap is not open to the visible eye but for some reason it doesn't seem to be completely close which is making the rattling noise.
