Default FI with x pipe?

Hey all, i've seen alot of posts with those running true dual 3" setups but I was wondering if you can add a x pipe to that set up? Reason being is i'm hoping to cut down on the rasp a bit and it worked on my true dual NA setup. If anyone has done this, how was the power affected in the long run? was it a minute drop of 2-3 hp or drastic enough to be considered not being put on? any input would be appreciated, thanks!

I run a dual 3" with an X-Pipe. It works really well. No rasp, although its pretty loud and has a bit of a drone but thats probably more due to the ridiculous mufflers.

The Motordyne 3" TDX exhaust designed for FI incorporates an x-pipe within a muffler. Actually I think all the MD exhaust variants include it in some form.

I thought about going motordyne, but i've already built my exhaust system and all i have to do now is change the piping and dump the 2.5 x pipe from magnaflow, i posted to see if its worth welding a 3" x pipe (magnaflow) to the new 3" piping.
