What makes the TN kit an undesirable kit? Is it the selection of turbo?

All the piping is very small, I dont believe it flows that well. I'm learning now that the kit is suited to a stock car just looking for extra power.

the crappy t60-1 on those turbonetics are a FAR cry from a "big single". It's a small single at the greatest.

lag is also a key. If you are racing something that is all motor or motor plus nitrous you are going to lose off the jump because turbos have to spool. You have to break boost or make sure you're launching at an rpm that is suitable.

Mine is 523hp and even now at a roll my friend with a 400hp built all motor camaro SS still gets the jump on me bad every time. I brake boost and all. There is more to roll racing than just pushing the skinny pedal.

So is it possible to brake boost on our cars without pulling fuses?

cut the wire to pin 101 on the ecu. It's best to wire up a switch to it so it's not disconnected all the time.

When it's disconnected the ecu won't see the brake lights and allow brake boosting. There is a thread on here about it.

It'll help but not 100% against an all motor car. All motor has instant power. It's always going to get the jump on any boosted setup.

I put a switch for it on the a-pillar gauge cluster. Essential for burnouts and brake boosting

It's that 'brake override' system Nissan started using 6 years ago

I agree with the others... it's the turbo choice and it's restriction/lag that's getting you.

^^ based on what you're saying you have a BAD case of lag. I highly suggest smaller twins or a SC if you want quick spool. Otherwise you need to really practice your brake boosting and do WOT shifts so you don't dump your boost every upshift.

Your AIT is probably through the roof from the Undersized piping and intercooler. Weather shouldn't make so much diff...

I hope this never happens to you or anyone else for that matter...it's just stupid. I know street racing has been around for years and years, but it's just not worth it.

Remember this idiot

The fastest TN setup and fastest stock block with 150 shot are both within .1 of each other and 1 mph down the 1/4

You will not have the IMMEDIATE n20 TQ rush but you shouldnt be slower, espeically up top than before.

Get used to the setup more, TN kit with 380ish whp[ is good for 11's and 116mph trap.

edit-btw a Greddy car SHOULD stomp your TN top-end, trust me Ive had both kits.
