How is a 100 shot with bolt- on's going to be faster than a turbo setup pushing more than 400rwhp and tq, you got me?

where you brake boosting? I believe you need a module to do so in a z, so i assume not. That might make the difference. Also, where these races from a stop or a roll?

Sell your TN kit to build your motor then buy a different kit.

Your TN kit wont do much more for you unfortunately. You should of reserched FI kits alot better... So your stock car w/full boltons is/was better than 400/420tq??? hmmmmm... Id figure your full bolt on with 100shot would put you in the 340 or so range... Your ever get times on your car with 100 shot?

Something is not adding up here...

Ahhhh.... this is when my forced induction for noobs thread comes in handy..... Twins = Better from the Dig (i.e. street racing) Single = Better top end (i.e. highway monster or racing from a roll)

Not to continuously rag on the TN kit, but that turbo is not the greatest. Powerlab or BP's kit has the desired turbo to give you some serious pull from 3k and up.

not boosted yet, but i've read enough to know the TN kit isn't known for power or reliability.

and even though the dragstrip is full of rednecks and ricer honda kiddies, at least they're showing more brains by racing on a dragstrip. late night highway or not, you're playing with fire racing that way.
