I just went for a ride... and I need new tires badly. I mean from a roll 3rd or 4th gear it does great and pulls but from 2nd or even a dead stop... 1-3rd just spin like crazy, my back end comes out and ill be allover the road till bottom of 4th. I still have like 80% left in these tires but I guess they suck ***.

any good tires you guys recommend that I should look at? I saw some nittos dr at an " ok " price

My friend is making 457whp in a Greddy G35 and he loves the Nitto NT05's. He says there the only street tire thats ever hooked up and lasted a decent while.

You wont hook up in 3nd as it starts to get cold, especially in NY

I can hook high in 2nd gear with 605/540 on 295 KDW's in the SUMMER. -1.1 camber

Even now at 60 degrees it wont come close and 3rd will sometimes spin.

450whp in the summer though should hook easily in 3rd at all times.

yeah 3rd gear in the summer is great. you punch it and instant traction no spinning. now 2-3 is .

my next mod is getting another pair of rota wheels ( 2 set ) and I also found a pair of nittos 555 dr 285/40. possibly even a little thicker sidewall. I figured I can slap those on when ever.

I have a customer that sends $500 every 2-3 weeks, and when the final payement arrives the kit goes out.

Just throwing it out there...

Thanks Sasha. I need to get my wife through school first and then the fun begins. I have followed this since you 1st started and am very impressed with what has become of this kit. When the time is right, I will be in touch.

Best of luck with the success of this great kit

Chris

Sick numbers lol the video doesn't do it justice. With this turbo and cutout you hear it spooling up from a quarter mile away!

Whats the meth for? You have quite a bit before you run out of pump gas range, the intercooler is big enough so your AITs arent effected, and you have more than enough boost to make more power.

Sounds like a waste of money to me....

Let's say $500/ 2 weeks. That is 20 weeks. I hear some people wait up to 6 months for a TT kit, then there are parts missing.....soooo add another couple of weeks..ect.

It does not matter to me how long it takes.

If i was going with a built engine in the near future i would maybe think about this kit." i would rather have twins though " But for stock block power its not worth me getting rid of the vortech for stock block BP turbo numbers. BTW i am only running 13 psi at 6600 rpms.

Thanks for sharing the dyno, very good numbers for a S/C car. I see it is a Rev-up, so a bit different.

The torque is really where the difference is when comparing s/c to turbo. Vas has 400rwtq at 3800rpm, but then again, your s/c set up is much safer on a stock block than a turbo kit with that torque curve.

Toyo R888s, even lightly-used ones. I have used them for sometime now on my high HP Z32TT with great success.

Your car looks great and your putting some nice numbers down!! For an all out street tire the Nitto Invos are really good, I run 305/30/19" and they hook very very good I was amazed with the traction but I also have a 3.3FD. I would guess NT-05s and R-888 would be better traction but for a tire with a decent tread wear you can't beat Invo IMO.

FWIW, with winter approaching, just remember you CANNOT leave an R compound tire out in temps under 32*. They will crack.

Here's the warning that comes with Nittos, and I'm sure the Toyos are the same

I ran the R888s through last winter. Not too cold here in NC and the car stays in the garage with temps below 40 or snow/sleet. It wasn't great but didn't feel dangerous (out of boost of course). I've got a pair of RE-11s waiting to go on now for this winter... The R888s lasted 12k miles and still have a little bit of tread - not bad - made it through 2 ZdayZ. 2 best street tires to consider for FI.
