Do the mods here implement any type of restriction such as post count/join date prior to being able to sell items? Subscribed. I hope Flo and the others get their money back and this kid gets what's coming to him.

I'm curious. Why didnt anyone report this thread? We mods can't be everywhere at all times. Yes, it should have been closed sooner, but how when we weren't alerted to the potential issues brewing? This is what the report function is for; not for complaining when someone has a different opinion than you, or contests something you have to say, etc.
This is why we ask you guys to please moderate yourselves and use the report function to alert us to issues such as this. Most of us are here to serve this community (not just the site or IB.) Good luck Flo and anyone else who dealt with this guy.

Wow, OP is a dumbass for pulling a scam to a my350z member, after leaving much information on G35driver... rofl. I clearly warned him, that he will be found and not to **** with people in the internet, because he doesn't know what their capable of... Take Phreak for an example, he can find ANYONE on the interwebs by just punching in their hair color in google. I hope you guys either get what you guys were supposed to get, or get your money/kit back. This is absolutely BS. I wanna fly down and pay OP a little visit. This kind of **** pisses me off. Ugh, why can't there be any trust worthy people anymore??

The rules sir, are listed at the top of the private classifieds section. They have been carefully chosen, giving consideration to all scenarios...

You know, quite a few "I'll never buy online" comments were made in this thread, and the G35 thread. Look at my iTrader. All of those were successful transactions. Don't let this scare you. There are honest folks out there.

...just use some common sense when buying.

-Is it too good to be true?
-How long has the seller been a member of our online community?
-Look at the seller's previous posts...get a feel for what they're like.
-Finally, check out their iTrader rating.

Good luck to all involved.

When I commented on this post weeks ago the OP was simply being a tool. He met the criteria to allow the post to remain though, i.e. true post count, verification pic with screen name, etc. Believe me, I'm the first one to nuke a post when there isn't a verification picture. The rules are clearly listed here: https://my350z.com/forum/private-cla...fieds-194.html

Cliffnotes:

1. First and foremost - Buyer beware! MY350Z.COM is not liable for any transactions made via the forum.

2. -All sellers are required to post at least 1 picture of each item listed in his/her classified ad to verify ownership of said item(s). In doing so, however, the picture must contain a slip of paper with the seller's My350Z.com username and date, name and date must be clearly visible. While this does not prove without a doubt that the seller owns the said items, it will minimize/reduce the possibility of potential scams. Keep in mind that in these times, not having any access to some sort of digital camera is not an excuse. Any and all threads that do not adhere to this new rule will be deleted without prior notice or warning.

If you are buying a high dollar piece from a member, We recommend using Escrow service to prevent any fraud. Escrow acts like a middle man in between the transaction. There is a fee, but it is worth it to prevent fraud.

If a seller disagrees to use Escrow, then it is a sure sign that it could be a scam. If they refuse other forms of security such as COD or PayPal, then DO NOT PURCHASE from them.

Ask for their information, ask if you can call them, ask for pictures of something specific.

If you see anything suspicious please contact us.

Go to Escrow's site for more information.

Yeyzee, I'm not sure what point you're trying to make with that last post. Please elaborate? While I agree with scotts previous post, I would have nuked the thread anyway, despite him having certain criteria that allows a thread to exist.
