Default Oil Temp Sensor Q

Looking at options on where to mount an oil temp sensor (AEM). I'm HKS supercharged.

What i'v found is -
1. Get a pan spacer.
2. Tap directly into pan.
3. I have a HKS "S" type oil cooler setup. Does the sandwich adaptor have provision to accept a sensor? So, if it does without having to remove it at this stage i was wondering about the threads also!!!! This would be my preference but please chime in as i have read that the best position for the sensor is emersed in the fluid.
I'v posted a pic of the "S" type showing the sandwich.
Thanks .

Looks like it does but it is likely 1/8" BSP (straight not tapered) - will need to remove and tap out as NPT for sensor...

the block is a 1/8" bsp. you might lose your dummy light, but you could screw that bsp sensor right into the block where the stock sender is

I'd personally use a tapped oil pan spacer
