Need Help, Wont idle, dies on Start up, Vortech SS box bad?
Hey guys, I have the vortech supercharger on my car, and it has been running great until last night. I came home in a huge rain storm and parked the car. I go out this morning and the car starts up, stumbles and dies.
I'm thinking maybe the split second box got wet? I looked in by the battery and it did not look wet. I checked all connections and wiring and everything seems fine,
Any body have any ideas? I also checked the connections to the fuel pump and tested it and it is still working fine.

since you didnt add much symptom or detail i will be the first to say maybe you hydrolocked your car?
Your intake boxes may have some water in them at the bottom, when it starts it pulls the water of maybe even just leaves and debris etc and crap and blocks out the filter.. or water into your engine even worse... id check the intake paths first, not electrical issues.

Thanks for responses guys, I switched out the maf sensor with a friends and she fired right up!
Really strange, thinking maybe water and maf sensor dont mix? maybe sucked some water up through there.
Thanks

if thats the case just go ahead and replace it with a PMAS, so if you decide to build the block you'll already have what you need to tune with Osiris

Regardless of EMS, PMAS requires a full dyno tune since they output far different voltage levels than stock and no 2 are alike. You can't just drop it in and go...well unless you don't mind it running like shyt.
