Right now I'm about 430rwhp, eventually gonna go for 600ish
Gonna be running 19x9.5 and 19x10.5
255 fronts 295 rears.
6 speed MT
Pretty frequent trips to the drag strip

My set up is identical with about the same power. I have the auto 3.3 gears and like it, 3.5 would work fine as well, but that is as high as I would go.

3.3 would start to be beneficial when you get into the 550+ range.
The ratio will feel slower if you go to 3.3 without enough power since it takes more to get it to get up and go, so you cant realize all the benefits of the gears.
Stick with stock till you make over 550whp then go 3.3. Some guys even like the stock 3.6 for over 550whp
. i guess i have even talked to guys that have 3.9 and 475whp and they loved them
i guess it has to do with personal preference how you drive and what you use the car for. I have 3.3 and I think it helps me keep the power to the ground in the first 3 gears.

NOTE: 600 horsepower and 19 inch DOT tires will be interesting.
This may be a dumb question, but I have aftermarket 4.08 gears. This wouldnt be recommended at all then with FI, supercharged or turbocharged would it? Even if I wanted like 400-450hp max??
600 whp on 19s is scary in cool weather. I run r888 295-30-19 that is an R compound tire as my daily and at the track I run MT ET RAdials 275-60-15 that is about 28x11.5 .

I still have a few things left to do with the car, will be upgrading clutch/fly within the next week or so and then picking up a set of rim/tires for track use.
I ran an easy 12.7 on stock rim/tires and stock clutch Knowing the clutch wasn't gonna last long haha.
No, getting traction in first and second gear is already difficult with FI on DOT tires. With 4.08 gears, add 3rd gear to the list. If anything, I would go the opposite direction, maybe 3.3 like Sylvan Lake V35 indicated.
With a supercharger it would be good. I'm considering this as an option for my supercharger setup. Gears will "feel" like a 10% boost in power and get to that high end powerband better. I know of a guy who has a 4.08 gear with his Vortech and I think there are a few more on here that also do. I wouldn't do gears with a turbo as there is already plenty of torque.
What does that guy in his Vortech run?
I bet not as fast as the stock gearing Vortech best time.
While it may be cool to spin 2nd in a Vortech setup, and it would feel faster Id bet that 4.08 + Vortech is actually slower.
