engine lab in tampa is going todo all my machine work and have agreed to custom fit the OEMs to proper fit,so should i stick to those or upgrade to ACLs

I'm also considering a rebuild. I've got 115k on my 04 350Z and considering going FI (supercharged to be exact) at somepoint thereafter. I'm not a fan of the turbo torque curve, never have been, but I guess it's what makes our FI community diverse I also plan to stay 10.3:1 on the compression, just in case I decide to remove the FI setup and go strictly NA.
I'm a noob to all of this and learning...

I'd say it definitely is, but nothing is safe if you plan on beating on it every day. I'll hit full boost in my car maybe once a month.

^ why yes i am...
if SC'd gets me to 400whp with a very linear trq. curve on my non DD, then i'm good with that.
i've beaten the **** out of my Z for 115k glorious n/a miles... it's time to upgrade, or at least get my Z to feel like it has a small V8 in it. besides... i'm tired of 335i's rolling on me at every light

Hah, well if you lived around my area you'd understand. Its not smart to do high speed runs because the highway is littered with police, and clocking a Z at 100+ would make their day. There is also a police helicopter in the air on nice days that catches your speed and then they send the registered owner a citation in the mail! (Just to show you how hardcore they are about catching speeders.) There really are no straight enough sections to do that on anyway. Around town, the tires just spin in 1st, 2nd, and sometimes even 3rd, and that's not fun to me. These RE-11's aren't cheap either! The only times I get to have "fun" are coming out of toll booths, and sometimes a short burst off an onramp when there's nobody in front of me (which there usually always is during the hours that I travel). If I wanted to go do a pull right now, I don't even know where I would go aside from driving an hour or more away. Not a great place to live with a car like this!
