JWT 700bb turbo setup. Which exhaust?
Hi Raj,
I have not heard the Motordyne exhaust, but it sounds like it is a good system.
I have the Evo TT exhaust, and I like the sound of it. It is 2.77" dia., so not as free flowing as the 3.0" exhuasts, but to me seems to be quieter than the 3" exhuasts that I have heard, especailly the APS 3" (I have not heard Motordyne's exhaust system). Actually, I have had comments on how mellow the Evo TT sounds.
Of the exhaust systems I have heard for our cars, I like the sound of the APS 2.5" TD exhaust best (slightly louder than factory), but as others have said, over 500 whp is pushing it.

I have the Greddy Ti-C on my Powerlab and the highway drone is gone since I dumped the single JIC. I like this exhaust 1000000x better, but it was f-ing expensive to buy it and get it custom fabbed on the reverse Y pipe
I have the APS 2.5, for now, in the car its nearly barely louder than stock the turbo spool drowns out the exhaust note its so quiet and i don't get any drone on the highway (in a G35 atleast). On the outside its decently loud, definitely doesn't sound stock.
Same here with my AAM 2.5"... a little louder than stock out of boost and it has a good growl in boost. My only issue is that running on the 1/4 I usually hear my competitor over my own car even with the windows up LOL.
Im hoping to get my hands on a 3" very soon though
Zivman made 550 whp DJ at a very reasonable boost level with the APS 2.5". I wish I had tried that exhaust first instead of the FastIntentions that I originally put on the car. With a 5AT and a torque converter that holds rpms steady in city driving, drone is a killer. The Motordyne TDX doesn't drone even in full 3" configuration but it is loud (not as loud as APS 3"). I'm in the process of modifying the axle back component with Dynomax VT mufflers. Will post up after I get a chance to review it. It's easy to swap pieces in and out of the Motordyne setup, which is nice.
