Default **** Have questions on greddy studs???*****

Hey guys, I was wondering if the studs that comes with the greddy 18g kit are strong enough for the application? I installed the header bolts but took notice to the side that threads into the head. The factory stud threads are longer then the greddy ones. Also I know there are 6 on each side but, there are 6 other threaded holes. The greddy directions are not the best. Is 6 on each side enough? I am also missing 4 studs out of the kit. The studs for the down pipes. They are m8 x 15mm x 1.25. Does anyone know where I can get these? Any help would be great... Thanks...

The motor may have more holes, but does that manifold?

To find the studs you need, try all hardware stores. Fastenal may be your best bet. Can also look on McMaster Carr, but not sure of the quality/material they use. You will want something that will be good with added heat/weight. Most stores don't carry metric, and if they do not a lot. At least by me.

If you can't find the studs contact Greddy. I would also talk with them about the manifold studs.

Hey homie. Good to see another member doing a greddy set up.

I just finished doing my installed. I didnt used the greddy ones. I used my oems and it worked perfectly. The only difference in the greddy is that they are smaller and maybe stronger? but i know for sure that they are smaller.

Yes, ONLY six in one side and six in the other, just because it has extra holes doesnt mean anything. Remember you have to shift the studs in the right order per Greddy guides, forward in the appropriate order.

You can order them anywhere online. Just google it and it will come out. The exhaust size and all but i recommend you keep the oems on, just shift them and you are set and good to go. That is what i did.
