I was on 22 psi last year and this year I have a brand spanking new engine with bc stage 3 cams

 

GT-R is still a dream... Went with an '11 EVO X GSR for now. Have a "few" parts on it. We will see how she does. I am more excited for the Dragon, but it is quick in a straight line too.

 

Yea, it may be still a dream for me too. I'm kicking around the idea of a EVO X or the new STI sedan until the GT-R becomes a reality.

How do you like the EVO so far?

hopefully things work out with his schedule and he can make it. mike, you can help represent my car if the g has sold. just fly to atlanta i will swing by and pick you up at the airport or meet at forged.

 

Contacted XKR recently. He's waiting on a present to arrive - his attendance at ZdayZ is up in the air based on that.

 

mike should plan to attend either way, wouldn't be the same without him. i'll call him

Im going to try and make this guys. Its roughly 115 miles from fontana village right ? If we leave on wed to head up there I will most likely attend and be the only automatic.. lol . I will def find out here soon and get the money in.


Im only running 13psi... but hey i can run the Brian in the NA car.

 

^ I've got a 5AT also. It's a blast running on the airstrip against 6MTs Don't underestimate your car at 500 whp - you'll be able to keep up with the 600 whp 6MT crowd. Just make sure you've got an ATF temp gauge and cooler on the trans cause the cars get hot running back to back down that strip, not to mention the mountain roads are killer on the 5AT...

Nice. Yeah I have a temp gauge and a huge trans cooler with a fan so no worries there. I have taken it down the drag strip numerous times with no issues. Even if it starts slipping ill just turn the boost down to 8 psi and let it ride. Not really to worried if the tranny roast the clutch packs. Just means its time for a th400 swap.

 

Took out a plane and nearly took out and a half dozen spectators.

Even should be a blast again this year. As a reminder please get your signups placed online ASAP. We wont be charging the cards until the week before the event but this allows us to properly plan. Not mention the event will likely sell out.
And on-site registrations will not be permitted. It's simply too distracting and time consuming to process while trying to coordinate the safety of the event. Thank you for your understanding.
