Default Swapping Transmission's

Have an 05 touring auto, Wife's Car, which I will now be driving. I like the car but really want to boost it. My worry is the automatic transmission will not be up to the challenge and also really would prefer a 6 speed. Would it be possible to swap a 6 speed in my car, anybody done it? Thanks

Transmissions isn't showing ownership.

I would suggest getting a different car with what you want ie MT-then boost that

Best advise is to trade in wifey's car for a 6MT. Conversions are cost prohibitive and unnecessary since you haven't started the mod process. Hope that helps.

i suggest the above said as well but if your deadset on this, youd need

mt trans/clutch/flywheel, all cylinders etc.
mt wiring harness
mt ecu
clutch line
mt pedal set
mt console trim piece (shiter area only)
mt driveshaft
mt gauge cluster (optional)
labor to do the job

*and if you notice under the shifter trim* is the trans tunnel, the auto has a different configuration, so you would have to cut out the old one and put in the mt version of it.

all in all, while its stock, trade it in for similar year mileage trim etc.
