yeah the filter will work, no prolem

it doesnt really quiet down the supercharger or the actual release of air. The ones I have seen eliminate the whistle they tend to make at idle and cruising. It is awesome at first. but after a few road trips and 10k the whistle tends to give you a headache.

For those that haven't experienced it, it is pretty much like if you had a passenger that could whistle continuously for as long as you cruised and at idle

I had one of those filter thingies but never put it on.
