I do not have to go through any drive cycles now. I actually had a misfire code because i'm running extremely rich at the moment. I cleared the codes, and all my readiniess monitors read "not supported"... In NY that will allow you to pass inspection, and sure enough I had no problems.

That is not true that they will pass in any state in "not supported"... My friend has the same thing as me and cannot pass in CA but passes in NY... Each state is different in terms of emissions inspection. We here in NY have different inspections from the city to up-state.
As far as what was changed exactly, unfortunately I do not have that answer, they were shut off... I know this is something relatively new since no-one else seems to know about it, if all of a sudden you hear about alot of shops who have been doing it I call BS since I spoke to all the shops on here and not one said they have done that. There is only one other shop that said they have done something similar. We've been doing it on GM cars for years when there's an issue, so thats how I copied the idea. I showed them which readiness monitors needed to be off, and between PME and Uprev, they were able to get it resolved without any issues.
If your looking for the specific lines that had to be shut off, I would call them. I would not want to guess and lead you in the wrong direction.

Str8dum1, Yes... I told them I needed all readiniess monitors shut off, even though they shut them all off, those particular two were still on. Rich at uprev spoke to Andrew (PME) as to which exact lines had to be shut off in addition.

I'd say any uprev tuner should be able to do this, and I know the guys at Uprev have great support for their dealers. Not too mention this fixed my limp mode issue with having the thorttle access set to 100% instead of the factory throttle access. I am a happy camper to say the least.

A plus to this also is that if you have CEL's when you go to get an inspection, you just clear the codes and plug the OBDII in, this eliminates the whole cycling of everything also.
I have a pro license and I'm not seeing anything jump out at me... could you be more specific where I should look? Or was this recently added (like in the last week) and I need another software update before it jumps out at me? All I see is On/Off for each DTC.

You do not need the pro version, only the ROM editor and disable all the relevant DTCs to get the "not supported" to show ...
Disabling the DTCs in the ROM editor will cause the rediness for the related test to change from "not ready" to "not supported".
In some states you will still fail the emissions test when it says not supported.
It's the same as it always has been since [adding] DTC disabling support to the ROM editor.
You should not need a license update, just the latest software from [the] site.

Sometimes having the CELs enabled is useful to detect actual issues. I 'm thinking the key to getting a SRT to change from "not ready" to "not supported" is to disable all DTCs (or "key" DTCs?) relevant for that SRT. Will require some trial and error...
Unfortunately I do not know every exact line item that was shut in mine... It may be easy enough to figure out if you have the proper software to do so.
On a side note, does anyone know if there is CAN communication in some of the standalones that could change these settings in the stock ecu? The wave length that i'm thinking, which may be wrong, is that if the haltecs and proefi's etc... have CAN control, they may be able to shut the readiness monitors off from the secondary engine managements and save the step of flashing a stock ecu. Not sure if that is possible or not, I know there is some CAN communication with EMS's, however I do not know to what extents. Just more food for thought I guess.

If you want to change what one computer is changing on the network, you have to "change the message" either by logging into that computer and changing the send/receive message, or changing how it is interpreted by other computers on the network.
These ECUs for the Z33 was very complex when they came out compared to the rest of the market. NOw not so much.
The readiness test, is a hard coded test in the ECU. So many checks and results clear one module, then triggers the next step of the test. IF Uprev, really does have the ability to rewrite the readiness test, then their market value just went through the roof. Now I am not saying that UPREV can rewrite the readiness test, but if they can, woot for many many people.
When I was working for Momentum, and a dealer for Uprev, they never mentioned this, especially when we were struggling to get one of our cars to pass, but this may be a new developement.
