FI sedan attempt 2: V.Greddy
can you post a pic of the cracked manifold. you seem to jump to a lot of conclusions too quickly. just dont want you wasting time.
sucks if the seller knew it was really cracked
Thats a pretty good price on those manifolds! you could build a turbo kit off those for pretty cheap

The cracked manifold in question was heat wrapped....IIRC I thought that would lead to cracking...??
edit: added photos of the manifold.

Well just got off the phone with SFR and he told me he could duplicate the entire manifold and make it out of stainless steel. If i can't locate a set of manifolds or if it takes long to receive I may just go this route.

Yeah I know it's pricey. But at least it's stainless....or does it really matter? Either way it's an option. I'm just scared if those are legit.
Also does heat wrapping make something more prone to cracking? A google search lead to conflicting opinions...although as I mentioned earlier, the one with the crack had wrapping on it.

That sounds like it's going to be expensive as hell. I would look into buying the set off ebay...

OK, well just received my Spec Twin Disc clutch courtesy of YeyZee!, as well as new FP upgraded Greddy Oil lines and a new AAM oil pan spacer...too lazy to post pics.
Just waiting on the new manifolds to arrive, then gotta send the turbos to be rebuilt.

Good to hear. So where did you end up getting the manifolds? I ended up getting mine ceramic coated with the turbine housings as well, should be done next week.
Are you going to run the 440's?

^^^
I got them through GTM; they sell them individually or pairs...also got them ceramic coated. When my turbos get back, i'll get them coated as well...then i'll go ahead and start my install.
I bought some used DW 600s off a forum member, so i'm gonna run those. Still debating if i want to do a RFS at this time or wait till after the new year. For the time being, i'm planning on an UpRev reflash...but we'll see on that.

^ Word. I'm glad it's coming together.
I'm doing a stage 1 rfs instead of a stage 0 so that I can get the lines away from the turbos. I'm on the fence about either the UpRev flash or just getting a Haltech.
