Comparisons are the best way one can make educated decisions about similar products. In this case we have a company who is introducing their own kit and at the same time giving their opinions about someone elses product. I dont know about you but until now ive never heard that the Greddy kit or PE kit or whatever involves serious cutting and relocating parts. This info makes me rething my plans for the future. I would hardly call that bashing. More like food for thought.
If I personally was doing a kit I would take everyone elses product rip it apart and point out each and every thing that was wrong with it with as much bashing as possible in the process. This why mine is better than everyone elses. Thats prolly because I am an a$$hole
Imo there is no point in sugarcoating ****. If a kit is garbage let the world know. Given their background these guys obviously know wtf they are talking about. If they wanted to bash I am sure they could have sat down and typed a 20 page essay about why the greddy kit for example is a pos. That didnt happen here. I dont see anything unprofessional whatsoever.
I am looking forward to more pics and info.

If you have great product, there is no need to put down the competition....your product will speak for itself. Saying that the others have a "cruddy" kit is oh so professional...and quite intelligent. But, since you're a self-admitted a$$hole, perhaps this kind of thing appeals to you.

you all need to chill just a bit. MrSmith...stop being an ***.
it's called marketing. we see it all the time. recently i saw the new Turbonetics catalog (which btw also owns Spearco Intercoolers) where they showed a radiator that had ballooned like crazy! They also had the brand name "smudged" but anyone with half a brain could make it out to say Fluidyne. Obviously their intent to market theirs as being better. If ultimate racing is right about the other kits needing cutting and relocating then I want to know as that is not what i want! and you know what? i would agree that they are "cruddy".
But anyway....back to the TT kit.....

Very impressive use of equal length tubes. But shouldn't you also be utilizing equal length headers to minimize exhaust pulsation? A constant spooling turbo is much more effective than one that begins with pulses.
All in all, I am inpressed with the overall set up. I look forward to the end product with dyno'd numbers. Definitely a big potential for purchase...just as long as you can keep it relatively reasonable.

when i spoke to them, they told me they needed to make 6 different style manifolds before they got one to work well. space is the largest obstacle.
as for that brown crap that looks like road kill under the car...i believe it's rust proofing overspray. i have it on mine too

Hey guys,
Thanks for all the good words!
As I've said in the past, I will not be releasing any pricing until we have completely finished our prototype. I really don't want to give anyone's hopes up if I am wrong in my assumption of a kit price.
As for horsepower goals, I'd be really pleased if we can produce 400whp @ 6-8psi. We'll all have to wait and see though.
ZMike is right, we had one hell of a time designing manifolds for this kit. Definitely not an easy kit to make. Space WAS an issue.
tony1, how's it going? Haven't heard from you in AGES! Great work on YOUR twin-turbo kit. As for our turbo inlets, we are running "shorty" filters right off the turbo. I'm sure YOU of all people know how tough it is to make this kit. For a custom kit like yours, we probably would've made it a bit differently. Relocating things and so forth. We decided to run with our equal-length turbo outlets as opposed to visible inlet pipes and air filters in the engine bay. We feel that the equal-length outlets will really help us out in making some serious power. As well, our intercooler core is very large and will provide all the cooling we need.
As for my "cruddy" remark. I may have jumped the gun on that one and I apologize. Definitely un-called for. But I really do wonder how some of the other kits are getting away with their designs. I really do think they are relying heavily on their name to market their kits. For the records, our kit does not require you to relocate/lose the coolant reservoir or washer bottle.
I'll have more pictures very soon.
Thanks guys!
Darryl

Hey guys,
Here are a couple more pictures of our kit complete with the inlet pipe to the throttle body. We will be offering two different versions of the kit. One which will bolt to the factor inlet pipe, and one that will include our own polished stainless steel pipe. This is just an option for the customer that doesn't care for the show appeal and would like to save a couple hundred dollars.

We will first be testing the Greddy E-Manage system. We have quite a bit of experience with the system and have had success with every car we've installed it on.
As a side note, we installed the Greddy E-Manage and our 440cc fuel injectors on the car in stock form prior to the turbo kit and had it running very nicely.

Well, I am real disappointed that this kit is coming as a twin. I have to wonder what the price will be and how competitive it will be to the other kits that are out there.
That said, it does look nice and I will keep my eye on it. Watch out, you already have ZZ(Mr. Negativity)topp on you, heh.
