You dont ( or shouldn't) have a BOV. You should have a BPV which is short for Bypass Valve.

At idle, low throttle it should let air dump out pre-intercooler. Under WOT or heavy throttle it will close.

Full kit with vortech fuel pump ect? Tuned?

Boost gauge?

Be sure to check the screw setting on the BPV.

Used kit?

From your description, could be a bad BPV...Intermintlly closes under boost but then re-opens...

OK, so i got everything working correctly now. The filter on the back of the BPV was completely blocked off. Now the issue is the fuel pump. I tested the power to it and when the SS box detects the throttle down it turns the fuel pump on... or its supposed to. If i connect the pump up directly it kicks on without issue. It doesnt kick on with the power from the SS box... Any help?

OK, sorry for the lack of info. I got the fuel pump to work correctly now. (Bad wire) Everything seems to be working, but the BPV is constantly blowing out air very loudly. I have to really get on the throttle to get it to shut up and build boost which is causing a huge lag in the mid rpm range. I have no idea how to adjust the BPV as i dont really understand how they work. Google to the rescue i hope or if you guys could point me to a good article on adjusting one would be awesome. Thanks for all the hlep guys.

Sounds like it's working just as it should.....

Watch you Boost Gauge, it should close around 8 to 10 in/vac.

It is Loud, that's why I made a muffler for mine.

You will not be building boost in less your in the throttle hard upwards of 4000rpm

make sure ur not getting belt slip..def. need a boost gauge and a/f gauge..

adjust the screw on the back of the bpv to about 6-7 threads showing..as long as it blows off and doesnt flutter its fine..shouldnt be any lag to get into boost...makes me think belt slip...u will always have air venting to the atmosphere when not in boost then the bpv will close and become quiet while in boost until u let off and it will blow off and vent again...

Alright, i didnt think about the belt slipping... ill check that when i get some time. As for the BPV, The nut on the top is tightened all the way to the BPV. I can loosen it, but its just like a nut on anything else, it will spin freely... has my BPV been tampered with? Another question too, I have some oil at the front intake of the blower, its enough to wipe off with a paper towell. It isnt dripping, but looks like it could be enough to if i didnt clean it every few days... what up with that?

see attached photo...

as for the oil on the intake of the blower, this may cause some belt slip issues, i would look into to doing the Tim Rod or GTM belt mods to get rid of it...
